Choosing the right care is a personal decision. I'm grateful to my patients who have shared some of their experiences here to give you an insight into what it’s like to be cared for, listened to, and supported throughout treatment.

Dr Ali is a very kind, caring and excellent Doctor. He is extremely competent at his job and treats patients as if they are his own relatives. We felt very much at ease while under Dr Ali's care as he has a very calming aura and he always goes out of his way. In this case, my father had a heart attack and two weeks later presented again with chest like pain. Dr Ali made sure the investigations necessary were carried out in a timely manner, leading to a quick discharge and an additional test to assess for any other life limiting lesions via a CT scan as a precaution.

One of best in his field/specialism. Easy to converse with. An extremely good communicator with a great 'bed-side' manner. Makes you feel like you're his only patient. I would happily, and without any hesitation at all, undergo surgery again with Dr Ali. I am completely confident in both his abilities and skills as a surgeon. I felt no stress or fear before or after my ICD implant operation. He is the reason that I am still alive and as well as can be expected with my conditions (and medications). I have debt of gratitude that I may never be able to repay. Dr Ali is a pleasure to speak to, face-to-face or through any other forms of communications. I am sure that if he received upward feedback from his own clinical teams, it would reinforce my own opinions of him, as a surgeon and a very likeable individual. His manner and personality are areas that can't easily be acquired by "chalk and talk" training. Dr Ali is a natural, and will go very far in whatever he plans to achieve in the future. A credit to his skills, a credit to himself and, without doubt, a credit to the NHS. Such a person is like a rare diamond, an almost hidden treasure within the NHS system
